Researches from the Universitat Politècnica de València, together with Planet Media Studios, AIDO, Agile Contents, Aisoy Robotics, the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Alcatel-Lucent, Mettre and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, participate in the INNPACTO project HAUS: Digital house and audiovisual content adapted to users, which main objective is the introduction of the new generation of personalized audiovisual TV contents adapted to consumer preferences as well as his environment condititions and characteristics. To that extent, it is necessary to know preferences of users but, in order to avoid rejection, it is critical not to overwhelm user with tedious quizzes. In this point, digital house, within and smart environment with a large amount of sensorial devices, plays an important role as provider of user information, in a transparent way.
The project belongs to the INNPACTO 2011 program, within the Spanish Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica, Desarrollo en Innovación Tecnológica 2008-2011 (IPT-2011-1049-430000-AR) and co-funded with FEDER founds. The aim of the INNPACTO program is to promote the cooperation project creation among different research institutions and companies, in order to carry out jointly I+D+i project that help to promote the innovative activity and private inversion, as well as providing employment and improving the technological balance of the country.
