Researches from the Universitat Politècnica de València, together with the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Planet Media and Galilea Soluciones, participate in the INNPACTO project Remediss, which objective is the creation of a multichannel interactive platform to provide teleassistance and e-health services. The platform is based on the use of consumer electronic and technological deployments in order to reduce the price of sensor equipment, as well as to facilite transfer and storage of these data in remote servers. In this environment, a better health control will be carried out by using a health social network in order to comunicate patients and doctors. The platform is based on well-known devices such as computers, television or mobile phones.
The project belongs to the INNPACTO 2012 program, within the Spanish Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica, Desarrollo en Innovación Tecnológica 2008-2011 (IPT-2012-0882-430000) and co-funded with FEDER founds. The aim of the INNPACTO program is to promote the cooperation project creation among different research institutions and companies, in order to carry out jointly I+D+i project that help to promote the innovative activity and private inversion, as well as providing employment and improving the technological balance of the country.
