On June 19 and 26, the staff of the Unidad Científica de Innovación Empresarial (UCIE) from the Instituto de Telecomunicaciones y Aplicaciones Multimedia (iTEAM) and the Innovation Agent attended the course “Generative AI for R&D Professionals: From Theory to Practice” by ValgrAI, taught by Jordi Linares Pellicer, Academic Coordinator of ValgrAI and professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València. The aim of the course was to provide the Innovation Unit of the Institute with tools and knowledge based on Artificial Intelligence. The session demonstrated the potential of AI to transform the conception, management, and presentation of R&D projects, focusing on the generation of knowledge and content, and how these techniques can improve the efficiency and impact of innovation and technology transfer projects and initiatives.
The course was funded by IVACE+i through the project Creation of the iTEAM Innovation Office as a Scientific Business Innovation Unit (INNVA2/2023/9) and has contributed to the acquisition of skills in new tools for optimizing technology transfer activities.
