Vicente E. Boria, leader of the Microwave Applications research group (GAM) at iTEAM of the Universitat Politècnica de València, was invited to the launch of satellites 31 and 32 (FM26 and FM32) of the European GALILEO program, carried out by SpaceX under contract with the ESA.
The ESA’s Director of Navigation, Javier Benedicto, granted Vicente Boria guest status due to his close collaboration in the experimental validation of the space communication systems for the Galileo program.
The launch took place on September 18 at Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA) through the thirteenth Galileo program launch using a Falcon-9.”
