The Multimedia Communications Group of iTEAM develops an automated system for recording conferences and plenary sessions

Members of the Multimedia Communications Group (COMM) of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) at the Universitat Politècnica de València, led by Juan Carlos Guerri, have collaborated with technicians from Esveu Media System to create an innovative automated production system that is revolutionizing the recording of conferences and plenary sessions.

The system, fully autonomous, uses multiple cameras and microphones and features intelligent technology that automatically focuses on the person speaking. It also incorporates guidelines defined by experts in audiovisual production, offering wide-angle shots, smooth transitions between cameras, and precise control, ensuring professional results without the need for direct human intervention.

Another key advantage is its ability to integrate with the most commonly used IP microphone systems on the market, such as Televic, Bosch, Vissonic, and Fonestar, among others, making it adaptable to a wide variety of settings.

Currently, this unattended production platform is deployed in over 30 municipalities in the Valencian Community and other regions of Spain, establishing itself as an efficient and accessible tool for the digitalization of institutional events.
