Video delivery over wireless networks (e.g. Ad-hoc networks), optical networks (e.g. OBS) or over any network without QoS guarantees, can cause a degradation in the QoE perceived by the user. The implementation of mechanisms to guarantee, adapt or improve video transmission can potentially improve the user experience.
