The Innovation Unit of iTEAM at UPV is the newest group within the Institute. Established in 2023 through the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) under the Research Results Valorization and Transfer to Businesses Program, specifically Line 2, focused on Strengthening Scientific Units for Technology Development and Knowledge Transfer to Industry.
The Innovation Unit is composed of five key members who provide support in:
- Communication
- Innovation
- Patents
- Research
It serves as a strategic bridge between scientific research and the business sector, comprising the UCIE and the Innovation Agent. Funded by IVACE+i, it represents a unique opportunity to transfer advances in communication technologies to the productive sector of the Valencian Community.
These technologies are positioned as essential enablers for fostering business modernization and competitiveness, playing a decisive role in the economic and social development of the region.
