Acknowledgements	The objective of the project is to carry out a proof-of-concept of a real-time 3D Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system using optical fiber sensors with SDM technologies, mainly MCF fibers, embedding the sensors in composite pieces similar to those used in aerospace applications, and through an experimental setup on a certified measurement equipment, validate the proper functioning of the system.
